Each year we celebrate the success of students through awards and events, but this success is nowhere more apparent than in the destinations of our students. Every year all of our students from Year 13 leave Silverdale to take up a university place, a further education course, an apprenticeship or a job.

In 2022, 75% of our students secured university places, with 97% placed in their first choice. The remaining students have opted to take a gap year before applying in 2023, with a small number progressing into employment including degree apprenticeships, joining the armed forces or taking up places at FE college or performing arts college.

Of those continuing to university courses, 54% will commence at Russell Group universities; 6 students secured Oxbridge places; 5 went on to study medicine, 3 dentistry and 1 veterinary science.
