Skills and requirements
Skills developed
PE lessons at Silverdale provide an ideal environment for students to develop excellent teamwork and communication skills. They learn to collaborate effectively with others, working towards shared goals while communicating through both verbal and non-verbal means. PE at Silverdale fosters a strong sense of unity, pride, and determination—qualities we actively promote throughout our school. With a broad and diverse sports offering, students are regularly encouraged to try new activities, often stepping beyond their comfort zones. We believe that PE plays a vital role in building perseverance and resilience, helping students to grow both physically and mentally as they navigate new and challenging experiences.
Beyond the classroom
Future pathways
