Published on 11/12/20
Dear parents and carers,
Change to end of term - and contact tracing during holiday
Yesterday you should have received a message from Chris James, the Chorus Trust CEO, explaining the reasons behind the early closure of school next week.
To reiterate, the end of term arrangements are:
- The last day of term for students will be Thursday 17th December, which will end at the normal time of 3.15pm.
In summary, the arrangements for Covid contact tracing in the holiday break are:
- If your child tests positive for Covid, having developed symptoms before 3.15pm on Saturday 19th December, you should email news of the test results to: firstname.lastname@example.org (please include your child's full name, year group, the date of the test and the date their symptoms started).
- If your child develops symptoms after 3.15pm on Saturday 19th December please contact NHS Test and Trace.
- If your child has been identified as a close contact of someone in school who has tested positive, we will contact you by email and text message up to and including 23rd December).
‘Dress as You Please Day’ - Wednesday 16 December
On Wednesday 16 December there will be a non-uniform day. We ask that students bring £1 donation that will be split between the PTA fund and local charities. Also on Wednesday, our traditional Christmas lunch is being replaced by a Christmas wrap.
